Heirloom Highlight: Cruise Letterpress Wedding Invitations

Can I tell you a little secret? I absolutely love fresh, fun wedding invitation designs. This might sound crazy, but there does not need to be gold, pink, and script for a design to be chic and classic.

Take, for example, the Cruise invitation suite from the Keepsake Collection of designs.

I really love allowing typefaces to take center stage in wedding invitations, and using a mix of classic serif with ultra-clean sans-serif fonts makes the Cruise invitation a delight to look at. While Cruise can be printed in any print method, and in any combination of colors, the design really sings in classic black letterpress on bright white cotton paper. Don't you think? Adding trio of borders around the invitation highlights the typography while adding a sense of formality to the invitation.

Most of the time, brides come to Sincerely, Jackie for my modern spin on traditional design elements. I could easily design using scripts, monograms, vintage inspired borders, and delicate lace patterns all day long.
