Font Friday: King Bloser - A Classic Calligraphy Script

It's Friday again, and you know what that means, right? I get to gush like a school-girl about a pretty font.

Last week I shared about my friend and fellow designer, Deborah Nadel, who is one of the most talented calligraphers around. Hiring a calligrapher may be out of the budget for many people, but fear not, today I am introducing you to a gorgeous calligraphy font! Calligraphy fonts, like all fonts, come in a variety of different styles. Just because you use a font for your wedding invitations does not mean that it cannot look unique, custom, and completely one-of-a-kind.

King Bloser is a font that truly exemplifies the art of hand calligraphy. It maintains the penmanship in a way that makes the font feel like it was done by hand.

King Bloser also comes with a variety of flourishes, swashes, and alternate letters, which really allows for customized lettering. As a designer, I love being able to use a font in a way that feels unique no matter what the situation. King Bloser is one of those fonts.

One of the other things that I really love about the King Bloser font is that is include non-script letters as well. The entire font family is simply elegant and perfect for use in wedding invitations.
