HEIRLOOM HIGHLIGHT - MAURA'S CUSTOM FLORAL MONOGRAM NAVY AND GOLD BRIDGEVIEW YACHT CLUB WEDDING INVITATIONS

Maura (and her sweet mother!) was one of my all time favorite brides. Like, ever. We worked together while I still had my studio in my home, and she came all the way from New Jersey with her mother for her consult. I knew the moment I met her that I adored them, and it sealed the deal when her mother sincerely complimented me on my original baby-pink 1970's bathroom (complete with lucite vanity pulls). These were my people, through and through.

It helped that Maura hired my dear friend JainΓ©, of Brklyn View Photography, as her photographer, because, well, JainΓ© is incredible and that's that. I knew instantly that not only would it be a dream to create these invitations, but that Maura's wedding would be the type I wish I could have attended.

While Maura's overall aesthetic featured a cheerful array of pinks, deep reds, and greenery - we kept the invitations classic, with a touch of nautical, as hint to the venue: the Bridgeview Yacht Club on Long Island. I tied in the florals with a custom crest, and leaves along the edges of the insert card. The entire suite was printed on crisp white cotton paper in navy blue letterpress, with a hint of my beloved champagne gold foil. The navy and white striped envelope liner tied in the nautical location, and the navy reply envelope was a rich, elegant accent.

Maura's invitation is politely called Prep, and is a showstopper in the Sincerely, Jackie studio.

*Guys, can I share a little secret? This isn't the first time I highlighted Maura's wedding invitations. GASP! I know, but I couldn't help myself because they're just so, so, so lovely! To see more, including the most charming day-of paper ever, visit this post right here*
