Heirloom Highlight: Classic Pink and Grey Letterpress Wedding Invitations

When I was working full-time, I had horrible insomnia on Sunday nights. My doctor said it's actually a type of "I don't want to go to work tomorrow" syndrome, and that a huge number of people suffer from it. So, when I left my full time job, a huge goal of mine was to be able to sleep on Sunday nights. I've been pretty good about getting a good night's sleep on Sunday nights, and I think it has a bit to do with how excited I get for Monday morning and Heirloom Highlights. What better way to kick off the week than with lovely paper?

Today I'm sharing invitations from Martha & Matt's wedding last summer. Martha chose the Grace invitation as her base, and I absolutely love the way Martha's colors of pink and grey came through with the classic black letterpress. Black is the one of the most versatile colors when it comes to letterpress inks. A classic black letterpress design can be paired with gold envelopes for black-tie drama - or, in Martha's case, can be paired with soft romantic shades of pink and grey, for an elegant and timeless suite.

Martha's invitations were letterpress printed with black ink on 110lb pearl white Crane's Lettra cotton paper - my personal favorite letterpress paper, thanks it it's supple texture that allows for deep impression. The suite was paired with a letterpress printed coral metallic belly band, fog colored envelopes, a matching coral metallic envelope liner, and finished with black digital address printing,

If you'd like to bring the Grace suite to life for your wedding, you can start by ordering a sample, or scheduling a one-on-one consult.
