2013 Holiday Gift Guide | Sincerely, Jackie New York Wedding Invitations

I don't know about all of you, but I have definitely been in the giving spirit this holiday season. I've got almost all of my holiday shopping done, and I'm really enjoying finding unique gifts for my friends and family. Here are some of my favorite gifts to give (or receive) this year.

1- For all the pet-lovers out there, I love the idea of a custom ornament with the silhouette if your fur-baby. This classic red and white ornamet is a sweet addition to the Christmas tree.

2- I absolutely love gifting photo calendars. They are thoughtful gifts for newlyweds, and a fabulous way to showcase photos all year long. My family took professional photos last year, and I used the photos to create a calendar for my grandparents - they loved it, and I felt like I really put the photos to great use.

3- This Nap pillow is my all-time favorite pillow. Ever. I was given one over 5 years ago, and it has been the only pillow I can use since. It's got a super soft cover, and perfectly full of little beads that support me all night long. It's smaller than a full-size pillow, which I love because it's perfect for napping on the sofa, and fits perfectly in luggage when traveling.Three years ago I bought one for everybody on my gift list (seriously, everybody got one, and they all love them!). Then, sadly, the pillow was discontinued for a few years before being reintroduced again. Go grab one before it becomes unavailable again!

4- I love this MacBook cover. The felt and leather make it classic and sturdy, with a professional-but-still-modern-and-funky vibe.

5- Who doesn't drink coffee or tea? Who wouldn't want to start their day with a beautifully designed, and uplifting mug? Exactly. This mug is the perfect gift at the perfect price.

6- This rowboat salad bowl needs no explanation. It's the perfect gift for your friends who throw summer parties, or for yourself. Or for me.

7- When my husband and I travel, we always bring his laptop on the train to watch a movie. Then we have to lean in really close so that he can put one ear bud into his left ear, and I can put one ear bud into my right ear - just so we can barely hear the movie. With this adorable branch ear bud splitter (for only $10!) it's problem solved! We can each listen with our own ear buds. This is the perfect gift for people that travel!

8- Bocce ball is a competitive sport in my family. This silver and gold set is a modern take on the traditional game, and is a perfect gift for the trendy homeowner. This is on my "the minute I have a house I need this" list.

9- Need to buy a gift for a type nerd like myself? This gold plated letterpress necklace is perfect. Modern and traditional, all wrapped up in the perfect little piece of jewelry. I have one of these necklaces with my initial, and I absolutely adore it.

10- My dear friend Charmaine, of Everly Calligraphy, is an incredibly talented calligrapher. I've always wanted to harness her beautiful lettering, but never knew how to do it. Well, she has just launched an at-home calligraphy kit, so learning is easier than ever! I love the idea of gifting the art of calligraphy to a friend!

11- These Ugg slippers keep my toes toasty warm on freezing cold mornings. I'm pretty sure everybody had cold feet in the morning, so these slippers make a great gift for everybody on your list.

12- Homemade sweets are always a favorite gift to give during the holidays. I have a lot of people I want to spread joy to, and whipping up a batch of homemade goodies, like these chocolate covered marshmallows, is one of my favorite things to do. I make these marshmallow pops every year - and I always keep a few in the fridge for myself; they are deliciously addicting, especially when cold!

Enjoy your gift shopping!

Sincerely,
